The “Training Program on Artificial Intelligence for Public Officials” was held online on 24-25 July 2025 under the COMCEC Project Funding mechanism.
This training program aimed to provide public officials with a practical understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and to promote the responsible use of these technologies in the public sector. Understanding the potential and limitations of AI, considering its ethical implications, and ensuring its fair, transparent, and effective application in public administration were among the core objectives of the program.
Over the two-day program, participants had the opportunity to engage with leading experts who shared their knowledge, experiences, and practical insights on a range of essential topics including AI fundamentals, generative AI and its emerging applications, ethical principles, and the role of AI in promoting transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in public governance.
