A four-day study visit to Indonesia was conducted between June 24th-28th, 2019 within the framework of the project titled “Reduction of Food Loss and Waste in the OIC Countries (2018-TURAGRIC-569)”, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey.

Within the scope of the study visit, the project coordinator, Prof. Hami Alpas and officials from Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey Mr. Ahmet Volkan GÜNGOREN and Mr. Adil ALTAN have visited various government agencies, institutes and private companies processing agricultural waste in order to examine current situation and best practices and to discuss the content of the training program will be held in Turkey in July, 20119. During the visits, various presentations were made by the technical personnel and managers of the respective institutions and detailed information about the food loss and waste was shared.
