Within the context of the project titled “Promoting the Use of Broadband in Research and Education among the OIC Member States” being implemented by the Ministry of Transport of Nigeria, a two-day study visit has been conducted to the University of the Gambia between 9-10 May, 2018. In the study visit, the current situation of the broadband infrastructure in the University, main challenges and potential solutions have been discussed. Also, interviews have been made with the students in order to get their opinions about the broadband access and e-learning resources.
