Training on “Capacity Building of Tourism Guides in Selected OIC Member Countries” was held on 10-13 July, 2024 in Bamako/Mali by the Ministry of Tourism of Mali with the participation of two OIC Countries, namely Burkina Faso and Niger.
The training aimed at improving the competencies of tourism guides for changing conditions and ensuring the sustainability of tourism sector. In this context, public officials and many local stakeholders from private entities attended the training. Furthermore, a local field visit to the specific tourism site was carried out on the last day of the training to gain practical experience.
