Within the framework of the project titled “Developing Agricultural Market Information System for Horticulture Farmers” (2017-IDNAGRIC-400) being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia, one-week training program and a workshop have been conducted in Indonesia between 20-26 September, 2018.

The topics of the training program included marketing of horticulture products as well as market and marketing information systems in this area. The training program was attended by a total of 20 participants from Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and Oman. The workshop, which was conducted with 50 participants from the partner countries, focused on strategies to improve market performance in horticulture products market. In the workshop, market access strategies and best practices for global competitiveness in this area were discussed.
