Within the framework of the project titled “Analysis of the Road Database Management Systems in the Selected OIC Countries” being implemented by the Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure of the Gambia, a two-day workshop have been conducted between 9-10 May, 2018 in the Gambia with the participants from Nigeria and Senegal. In the workshop, the current situation of the road database management system in the Gambia and the experiences of the partner countries in this area have been discussed. Also, a road map, which consists of recommendations for improving the Gambia’s transport policy capacity, has been produced.
