Within the framework of the Project titled “Raising Awareness for Multilateral/Mutual Recognition According to the OIC/SMIIC Halal Standards”, “the International Conference on Global Recognition of Halal Certificates” has been conducted on October 24th, 2023 in İstanbul by Halal Accreditation Agency(HAK) of the Republic of Türkiye, as the second activity of the Project. The Conference has also been broadcasted through online platforms.
The conference, which aimed to increase awareness regarding the importance of establishing a system based on the mutual/multilateral recognition of halal certificates, was attended by professionals from international organizations, NGOs and private and public sector in the field of halal quality infrastructure.
