A three-day training was organized between 15-20 August, 2022 in Kasese Town, Uganda with participation of local sector participants as well as the participation of the representatives from the relevant ministries of the partner countries, Sudan, Mozambique and Nigeria. Also, with the margin of training, a field visit was conducted to the region in the town where flood disasters occur frequently.

With the training program attended by a total of 36 participants, it has been aimed that the participants gain knowledge and experience on how risk analysis should be done in community-based tourism and what an effective crisis planning/management system should be. Under the field visit, it was focused on reinforcing the theoretical knowledge obtained from the training.
